Resources

The BIC is a multimodal imaging facility that supports human and preclinical imaging research at UT and the wider community. The center spans 3 sites in the Norman Hackerman (NHB) and the Health Discovery (HDB) Buildings and hosts a range of systems for MRI, PET, CT and optical imaging as well as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). BIC supports both independent and assisted use (for human MRI and PET/CT) on its instruments and provides in-house training in scanner safety and operation for independent users. The facility also supports a range of task / response paradigms (audio, visual and fluid delivery) for functional MRI (fMRI) studies and provides back-end support for data archiving, management and common analyses.

More information about our sites in NHB and HDB can be found on our Facilities page.
