We provide molecular biology reagents and access to DNA sequencing for UT Austin researchers. Reagent vendors include NEB and ThermoFisher. Custom primer services are also available through IDT and Sigma. Sequencing services are provided by Eton Biosciences, Plasmidsaurus and ACGT. Histology Services are provided by Histowiz and Texas A&M University.

Freezer Program
Our Supply Center is open 24 hours! NEB and Life Technologies have automated units that are available 24/7 to registered users.
The units are located in MBB 1.316. If you need access to MBB after regular business hours, please contact us.
Primers/Oligos
Primers/Oligos are available for pickup in FNT near the 1st floor elevators. You must sign out your order(s) on the provided shipment list.
Special orders
Special Orders are only available through NEB. Place your order at the NEBNow kiosk before midnight on Monday for Wednesday delivery. All orders placed after midnight on Monday will be delivered the following week. Orders are picked up at the automated kiosk.
Sanger and Plasmid Sequencing
Drop-boxes are located in FNT near the 1st floor elevators. Samples are shipped out Monday through Friday by 4pm.
Dry Ice and Liquid Nitrogen
These are located in MBB 1.122. You can either fill out the Google form on the computer in the room or on your own computer at this website.
